hijacked/stolen account

usually you will get your items back as dupes. (This is how it works anyways for any trader that bought the items from the scammer..you can't screw the honest buyer)

I'm working on a tutorial video on all the tricks scammers pull. Would be helpful to stop other scammers from using this same method.

It really depends on how he got access to your account. And really, we've seen them all already. We have seen 100's of accounts hijacked.
- Phishing site
- brother/friend getting access to email
- Steam Support tickets (now effectively locked, due the 2 week steam guard trade lock on accounts after a granted hijack ticket.
- malware / remote control on victim's computer.
- etc etc etc etc.

Some are more eligible for return of items then others.

hey umm Steam finally got my account back, but im still marked as sr scammer on steam rep, im also banned from tf2 outpost, but not the warehouse. is there any way to remove this ban?

you should make an appeal with the tagged account and explain what happend (you can include a link to this post an upload a screenshot from the SteamSupport ticket on your appeal)
