Description:
I've got an alert from the Steam Support through Steam last Friday 19th October 2012. The Dungeon Defenders DLC's I've traded for on 18th July 2012 with "(OBA) CR@ZY_C!0WN" has been revoked. I'd no clue why this happens to me so I contacted the Support. After a few days Cannon wrote me that the purchaser has done a chargeback.

Now it is a bit complicated, I've done this trade 2 times in order to gift 1 set of the traded DLC's to my brother (he is the implicit victim ^^ I gifted 2 DLC's from the scammer and 2 DLC's form another trader to him. So we had a mix of the same DLC's from 2 different guys.)

Also I'm afraid about Valves way of proceeding and this was definitely an eye opener for me. They won't restore my items I traded for. I'm still trying to get the Bill's Hat back but I think they will continuous to violate their own Steam Trading Policy. That's really disappointed for me.

Hopefully this will prevent other users to trade with "(OBA) CR@ZY_C!0WN".

Update: Finally I got my items back but just because of the trouble I did.


I've sent an invite to the scammer 2 weeks ago with no success. I tried to contact him so he could leave a statement, probably something went wrong. Well, I'll delete him now.

We won't trash it, this is still a valid report. Can you provide an uncensored screenshot of the trade history?

1st: The relevant part of the trade history is uncensored - the red rectangle
2nd: I won't publicly my account name since it's part from the login.

All needed information are given so deal with it. I don't care about this anymore because I quit TF2 right after this scam.

The trade history screenshot isn't valid at all because you censored everything out. We don't care if you censor your login name, but everything else can't be.

I also don't appreciate you being so rude. Do you enjoy being scammed? Do you want scammers to get away with it? I hope not.
I don't understand your lack of redemption, he scammed you, why would you not want to do something about it?

I wanted it but it took 1 month to reply on my report. Now it is 3 months ago. In addition Valve restored my Bill's and as I said I quit TF2/trading.

So why I replied?
I don't get it why the censored screenshot is not enough as long as it shows all related information.
The previous and next trades are unrelated to the report. Also I can shrink the window so it shows once the related trade and then I do a screenshot. Both screenshots includes same information, right?

Why do you need to know previous/next trades with an unrelated user?

I took a screenshot of the related trade with the related user. I took screenshots of all four alerts which I got from the Steam Support. Every alert included one item I've traded with the related user.

That's just our policy. We require screenshots from trades during the full day it happened, uncensored. Do you have something to hide from us?

You are kidding me, right? You just seeing 3 trades from around 90 trades I did this day How you wanna know how much trades an user did?
Maybe you want too see ALL of my UNRELATED trades i did, just to do what? ... Sorry man I'm too busy to screeny around 2300 trades.
