Could you explain what happened here? (Description of events)

He added me asking to buy my sunbeams ze goggles which I had recently bumped, saying he'd pay with cash. He gave me a code to redeem to my walmart (It seemed completely real because there was a site for the "PayForSafe" card) anywho, we had teamviewer up to record from both ends. While I was currently away about to leave to walmart I noticed he put a few virus's on my computer and got past my firewall, and disabled my anti-virus. In the time I noticed, he had already taken the unusuals. He had another trade up looking like he was about to take the rest of my items but I used ctr+alt+del, task manager, to stop teamviewer from running.

Do you have screenshots of your chat, the teamview window up, your AV removing things that were recent infections?

This was everything I removed after the trade, I had none of these before the trade.

Same guy added me a couple of hours ago asking to buy my hat for cash. Kept refusing to use a middleman so i deleted him. He also wanted to watch my screen to make sure he knew what i was doing. l assume he would of tried to do this. Found this thread because i was just curious if he had tried anything in the past. Could get chat logs but it's saying he has prevented me from adding him at this time :l Just checked and his profile is now private...it wasn't private 20mins ago.

The most important piece would probably be the chat screenshot evidence, do you have that?

He contacted me too. Buying my 2 unusuals for 420 dollars. I declined installing teamviewer mainly cause he had enough buds in backpack to buy my hats. If needed I can upload screenshots of chat.

Unfortunately I could not get any screenshots of the chat window.
After looking around, I'm not the only person this guy has gotten.
I also currently have Recuva running to see if it can get the video back

I've also pointed him out to the admins, he should be tagged soon.

Managed to get him to add me again but it only showed about 2 lines of chat... ow well hopefully someone has some solid evidence on him. Gl op

I'm very glad he's marked as a scammer, but does that notify valve and give me a chance to be receiving my items back?
