This report is somewhat convoluted, so please bear with me.

Scammer alt used to scam me (but innocent, will explain later)

    Sequence of events:

Firstly I received a friend request from wideant http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198079403027 and he wished to buy 2 buds. He went first, and paid for them via paypal. All was fine. http://puu.sh/3tHvM.png

The next morning I woke up to see a chargeback notice. http://puu.sh/3utPH.png . But wideant had not removed me from the friends list. I had a feeling it was a misunderstanding. He was offline.

Meanwhile, I had a friend request from [TG] Hitman:THE UNJIHADABLE http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198048566083 . Coincidentally, he is the 'mrepicfailure911', the same person that wideant had wanted me to trade the buds to in the first screenshot. I decided to have a chat with him. http://puu.sh/3tXfM.png He confirmed his identity, and claimed he 'received no buds'.

The next day wideant was back online, and here is our chat history.

I believe wideant - he is not involved. His English is much better than the person who had scammed me, and was very cooperative in helping me find leads to the real scammer. The imgur screenshots are as below:

So [TG] Hitman:THE UNJIHADABLE DID get the buds, but chose to lie about them. The issue is, he's probably an alt too who moved the buds quite quickly. The trade was obviously made so that it wasn't an empty trade - the items traded were invalid items and game coupons. It was a shifting of items basically.

Please upload your images using the "Upload a file" button so we may conserve them.

Also if Wideant was hijacked, please let him provide a screenshot of his ticket to Support as i would find it highly suspicious that he would be hacked but is able to log in the day after.
