I recently traded my TF2 backpack (because I am quitting) to "Makaveli" for what was supposed to be $20. When he said he sent it the money did not show up on my PayPal account and I just figured it may be a while because his Steam page says he is in another country. So I checked my PayPal about 10 hours later to find that the money still wasn't there. By that time Makaveli unfriended me. I looked on SteamRep to find that he already has been reported for having a fake SouceOp page, which I can verify that he showed me.

Hello! Can you provide a screenshot of your trade history?

The scammer already has been tagged for having a fake SourceOP website which is an instant no-no. Did you check his newly created profile though when you traded him?

I checked his profile and did realize that it was new and looked a little dodgy, but since in his fake website it said he traded over 1000 items total then i just figured it was an alt to contain items. When I was trading him I was looking at his SteamRep profile, which at the time had no special rep.
