Improper Format My Ts Flipflops were either scammed or the trade glitched

Me and a so called friend were trading because we let each other use each others items time to time, and i gave him flipflops to try, and after we traded he said he didnt get them, it said he did and i checked his bp and they were in there and after that he left the server,and he deleted me, later that night i checked his bp again and the flipflops were gone so I contacted a admin from a server i knew to help me out and he got me and him to sort this out and he is saying that he didnt scam me, it was a glitch or something, please help i really want my ts flipflops back. if u need more proof i can provide it.
