so i clicked the new phishing link people are getting on OP the steamcommunity one, i clicked it then realised it was fake, i had "noscript" on , what should i do now? i dont rly want my account to be hijacked -.-
NoScript is really helpful against most exploits. Did you log into anywhere after you clicked the link? I recommend changing your password definitely, just to be sure.
If you didn't login, you shouldn't have to worry too much. I'd still change my passwords if I were you.
As Pretender said, don't worry. A phish link can only steal your password if you actually type it in. Noscript is great, but does not prevent you from typing in a pass, as Mattie said, it is great protection against many other exploits (which are far nastier than a phishing link). You can change your pass, always a good idea, but not needed in your case since you did not log in. I got directed to a phish link the other week (and reported it here), and didn't need to change my pass for the same reason. I wish more people would ask such questions as you are doing, it might teach more people to be cautious.
its a firefox plugin that blocks XSS, JavaScript and Java per default unless whitelisted per webhost (some sites contain content from multiple TLD hosts)
