New Admins

Don't want to be offensive or such, but... If some admins post that there's a month long backlog to review, maybe you should recruit some trusted well-known players as admins? Make a roll-call or something? TF2 players base has grown, so have the scammers, so should the admins

We've already grown a lot, and are training new admins/moderators. As such, we can't add many at the same time, as they must be tought to work in a certain way, learn how evidence and other stuff must be seen, given access on variety of communities etc, its not a easy route to get somebody in. Helen is very busy training and guiding those. This takes weeks or even a month or longer at times, for most ppl don't know all the tricks regarding steam, what PP does and the tricks around those, recog photoshops, and the hardest one is trustworthy judgement calls, which only comes from experience.

As such, such admins are only proposed internally, and after a vote one goes talking to 'm if interested. If so, those are invited and trained up.

As it is, there are loads of reports been done, and the numbers go faster and faster... can you believe we where on ~2500 scammers with start of january? its now over 6000. With the hijacking and valve actively closing down loads of accounts in regards of the hijacks, its no wonder this goes faster and faster. There is however something that I hope will happen soon, and then a lot of the crap will be over.

And not to mention, SR admins are all volunteers and give immense amounts of their life to helping the community. So it's difficult to find people who are of that cut of the crop and also have such time.

But that being said, there's also a lot of communities out there trying to assist in the process. All in all, I'm personally glad that there's many REPORTS; means more scammers are getting caught and marked and that SR is doing what it was meant to do.

*Capitalized that part, because I'm saying reports of scammers are good, not scammers. More scammers is bad.
