Just weighing in again. Marshazzle, you did admit to saying the price was 40- 60 . "I said it might be in the $40-$60 range". did it isnt fair to value the game off of potential products that can be bought in game. Thats like saying tf2 costs x amount because you can buy these items and such. And the fact that you keep commenting that the proof cannot be recovered also sounds suspicious.
It was Penguins fault for not checking the price, but it is your responsibility as an admin and middleman to help out these inexperienced player have the neccessary information.
On the other hand, you seem to have a pretty stellar record otherwise. Penguin also got pretty obnoxious and petty towards the end. I am not an admin here so obviously I can't decide. My attention was directed towards the chat and I thought i'd help out. I hope whoever takes this case does a thorough job as they usually do.

Penguin did have the name of the game, it is a traders responsibility to know about the items he or her is trading. Penguin did in fact have the name of the item, Marshazzles must have had been confused with a diffrent game. Without chat logs, there is no real reason on how the trade went out. The chats that were given as "evidence" show that no trade happened, and it just looked like they were fighting and saying mean things to eachother.

From what I have seen Marshazzle was completely dishonet about the value of the item. Beat around the bush all you like, Penguin clearly is inexperienced, and Marshazzle claiming that $60 isn't that much just adds insult to injury.

    BUT

SteamRep+ does not mark for sharking. Loads of people overprice their s✿✿✿ on outpost, and it's annoying as hell, but ca they get marked as SCAMMERS? No way.
This is what rep threads are for, and as Bo0m pointed out the guy looks really shady, if he keeps acting like he does he'll get what's coming to him.

I was just pointing out that he could be marked for trading with scammers actually. But yes, that too. :p

I was puzzled why in his appeal, where he draws attention to it, the admins didn't see it. Hopefully he will be marked as a result of this.

No problem. So sorry for not including trade chat history and such. First time reporting. Either way, I'm not going to get my money back, but I can't stand someone getting away with something.

I'm going to comment once again, to demonstrate how much this doesn't fit together.

    1) My reputation on my profile is completely real, with no intentions on tricking any fellow traders. Nothing I've ever asked for, only recieved by people who have enjoyed my services.

    2) I have absolutely no idea why I am banned on Source OP, but I have a feeling it was linked to my Steam Rep tag. It occured to me I had to contact various admins before getting unbanned on their servers due to the mark manually rather than it auto-adjusting. Either way, this shouldn't be looked at heavily for I have never desired to make a transaction there. In the future I may, but it'll only be for selling purposes.

    3) Fat Penguin deliberatly lied about the chat logs he mysteriously came across. He clearly stated his opinion on lying, which brought me to believe he's hiding truths.

    4) Contact me if you want more information; I'd rather explain myself in-chat. There's no way I'm going to be accounted for the opposing client making a mistake.

I may have been a bit frustrated with you near the end, but that does not mean I was lying.

Bo0m looked at all the +rep comments left on Marshazzles account

As you can see there is a very large number of scammers who have given Marshazzle 'rep' whther this rep is true or false I will leave up to you to figure out.

I shouldn't have to defend myself on the subject, but because of my interest in what certain people have against me, I can clearly confirm I am not friends with a majority of those people who have commented on my profile.

Also, Sexually Handicapped Panda had his scammer tag appeal accepted as well. There's nothing to hide with me, so go ahead and shoot the breeze.

I feel as if the subject of giving another client my insights on a game, clearly stating to investigate on his own time, and making an in-game trade shouldn't limit my future abilities in my favorite game title since 2007-8.

If you weren't friends with them, then how did they post on your profile? I checked on your profile and it doesn't let me post. Not important, but out of curiosity. Also, don't you think that the supplier of the game should know how much it costs and all of the details and not have the buyer have to look up all of the information?
