    Scam Report

Report Type: [Money] Steam Wallet fraud
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198015699377

    What happened? Description:
    Hello,

The CSGO community, I just want to give a heads up to all traders out there. Earlier today I wanted to trade my M9 Bayonet Case Hardened Field Tested for a 150 euro steam card. So Yanis a guy that is labelled to come from Monaco got in contact with me. He had about 30 pages of +rep trading with a lot of high levelled people like 20+ on steam and no private profiles they all seemed happy with him. Yanis himself was steam level 42 and had a dragon lore and some cool looking knives. We started the trading process and we agreed to him sending the steam code at the same time as my offer. He sent the code but it was obviously a non-working code, the last message he said to me was ''never trust a money trader even though they have 200000+ rep''. He later on added me because he wanted to say that he didn't accept the offer but it was just that the knife was transferring to his account. He would later on receive the knife and it can now be seen in his inventory. He would at this point block me and hasn't made contact with me ever since. I have made contact with steam support with some evidence of this scam i had a screen recording running and a lot of screenshots of the incidence. But weather i get the knife back or not I just want to tell you all out there in the community to watch out for Yanis and other scammers like this one. Never accept a trade offer which involves steam money it will most likely be a scammer unless you know them. If you want please take your time to check out Yanis profile: http://steamcommunity.com/id/52485027017374 and maybe report him so that we can get rid of this guy who i'm guessing has scammed way more people in the past.

    Best regards,

    Jacjok/ Jihadiexplosion

Thank god I didn´t trade with this scammer. The 1 week untradable system saved my 350€ knife.
Thank you very much for posting this.

    Hello,

I apologize for the delay in responding to this report. Unfortunately, we will be unable to proceed with the report due to the following:
    • By policy, we do not accept reports dealing with Steam Codes.
    • The entire chat conversation appears to be either incomplete or missing, of which would contain the ENTIRE trade agreement and is vital for a report to be processed. The agreement should always be discussed within the Steam Chat.
    • Screenshots must be full screen, uncropped, and unedited.
As such, this report will be marked Invalid. Please read this guide: https://forums.steamrep.com/threads/steamrep-investigative-policy.140101/ and https://forums.steamrep.com/threads/screenshot-guide-requirements.157969/ prior to submitting a report.

    Regards.
