What happened? Description:

Scammed off two game gifts from me. Seemed friendly and legit. Offers knife for real money, proceeds to want some "ensurance" that I wouldn't run off with the knife, proceeds to steal the ensurance.​

Evidence explains it. Not that I lost much but small things like this can lead up to someone really getting emotionally hurt.​

You can report the user to Valve instead
In order to do that, you have to:
1. Visit the accuseds profile
2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
5. Click SUBMIT REPORT

With that in mind, there isn't enough evidence to prove the accused is guilty of wrongdoing.
