Description:
He made an offer of 55$ for a Grimm Hatte with Nuts n' Bolts I had (TF2OP thread here). I added him and he said that he wants to buy it but that he wants me to go first and without any middlemen. Me, being the people-trusting moron I am, decided to accept his offer. I gave him the hat and he claimed that he sent me the money but I did not receive it. He also quickly removed me from his friends and blocked me too.

He's at it again? He scammed me already, but luckily a mod helped me out . Wish you good luck sir.

Leave a negative feedback on his profile and report him on TF2OP. Also be sure to submit a ticket to Valve regarding this issue, and leave it open until he resolves the issue (or not, this is the 2nd time (or more) he's scammed someone).

Oh wait, he's already trade banned, but still would be some good use..hopefully.

I'm not sure if opening a ticket would help in this case because part of the trade "was" done outside the trading system and, as you said, he's already trade-banned which is probably about as much as Valve would (or could) do.

But I'll do it anyway because they might return my hat.
