I am frustrated to see you accusing someone of scamming, without even telling them what you're accusing them of. This guy obivously doesn't know what Fake rep is.
I also can't believe that throughout the thread, you keep saying that he knows what it is, everyone doesn't know what middleman is nor fake rep.
If you're going to report someone, do it right.

Like i said i'm reporting him here for fakerep at least, he have Steam alt accounts, as well as Steam forum alt accounts.

You didnt even answer him. He sent you a pic, and then you ignored it and went on asking for him to give you a valve complete pack -33% off for Section 8 + DLCs.
You tried activating the key. If it would have worked, you would have been responsible for scamming someone off their key. The key IS NOT linked to Syrax xZaapz. I know the dude and he told me HE DIDNT give or sell the key to my friend here.

My friend bought the key from GameStop. He was planning to give it to a friend but he forgot doing that. A couple of weeks later they moved to a city a distance from the old town he lived in. He can't go back there as he isnt legally allowed to drive a car and isnt planning to go back there. (For now.) He later found an old box with some stuff in it. Black ops was in there so he took it out and wanted to sell the key on steam forums, which all came down to this.

He sended me a blurred key FYI.

I suggested him using a middleman and he said he has no idea what it was.

For the coupon, it was to see if it's was really an alt account, hence the coupon is more rare than anything else or nearly if he would said yes there was some chance to be his main. Hence after i noticed he posted the other account link on forum, using at least 2 differents forum nickname.


I asked him if he know a good middleman, he completly ignored that. I linked him to steamrep forum hence a list of trustable middleman. i suggested him some protection about trading a key for a game. So what?

And he his the concerned guy, he should defend himself.

yeah, no trade were done, but if you would readed my original post and noticed he really know what's fake rep, then you would understand i reported him mostly to get him fake rep flagged and letting Steamrep if he deserve more.

Why you removed the rep you gived to your alternative account then? You know it was bad right?

I have marked both accounts as scammers. You may appeal the ban in the 'Appeal a Judgement' forum.
Fake rep, in this case, is providing a rep statement, such as 'Great trader sold me some retail keys +rep,' when such a transaction never occurred.

The way I see it, the CD key has little bearing in this case.

It is clear that you were trying to sell the keys, for whatever, on SPUF. In both cases, different accounts are linked. Both have Metro 2033 up for sale. This is sufficient proof that both accounts are from the same person. Referring back to the working definition laid out above - this transaction cannot have occurred if the parties are one and the same.

Funny how Phenomenal is the SPUF user name and of another user, eh, with that avatar of good guy greg? In all seriousness, please try to keep these threads civil.
