What happened? Description:

This user added me and proposed buy my Strange Frying Pan with a 100 USD Steam Wallet code/card.

He then proposed to give half of the code first, a common scamming trick: while not lessening the risk of the operation and not even requiring him to have possession of a valid code, it might be construed as a token of good faith by a inexperienced or unwary user.

The proposed trading did not take place, since I was aware of his real intentions from the beginning, and just went along, except for closing the deal. He went far enough to show that he was determined to profit from this trick, however.​
