What happened? Description:

A good friend of mine told me he wanted to trade up to a battle scarred dlore, or an item of interest which we can share. He talked about obtaining said item via a legitimate method: trading. He said he had needed my help, since he had nothing of value except for his knife, and asked for two of my Dreamhack2014 Cluj-Napoca stickers (worth ~$10 USD together). I trusted him and traded my stickers over to him, which he sold on the steam market and bought an AWP Redline; I trusted him because I considered him one of my best friends. I then asked him how trading was going along, and he claimed he was keeping the Redline, which I thought was a joke. Sadly for myself, it wasn't a joke. He removed me after a day or two and I haven't heard from him since.​

Little regarding the trade after that; he removed me on Skype and Steam on Thursday, PST.

He was just joking, he re-added me and will compensate me by the 25th, as agreed. I should have forseen this, as he is a notorious jokester. If something happens, I'll comment again, and we can all disregard this post and move on with our lives.

Leaving this open just b/c I haven't gotten word from him on my stickers, doubt he'll scam me.

Update: we've recently had a falling out and he's been genuinely mad at me, removing me and blocking me from Steam; don't take this off your radar until i've received my stickers.

I've decided to remove him, as he's promised multiple times to pay me back "when x happens, when y happens," but has never done so. You guys do your thing.
