    Report Type: [Item Fraud] Quick-switch trade scam or attempt
    Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198073014377

    Victim profile: 76561198981951894

    What happened? Description:
    The scammer requested to add as a friend from previous games. He/she initiated the trade and offered to pay for my stat items and cases in cash. And then scammer claimed the money was being transferred from paypal to my steam wallet and it took a few days to clear and kept messaging me about how worried he/she was feeling, non-stop.
    Scammer then asked for the trade before the fund was cleared. I agreed to offer 25% of my items (20 cases and 2 agents) down in exchange of nothing. And after that, scammer disappeared.​

    No, need the full screenshot of the chat logs that show where you gave the user the information to send payment to, what payment was exactly and for what exactly. That is a FORMAL agreement that is required.

    Sorry I don't see the part of the info for your paypal account to accept funds to? We need that as it is part of the formal agreement and must be verified.

    I can provide full chat log. Shall I do that? The screenshots are almost 90%+ of all chats. I was pursuaded to do the trade which I didn't have any intention or motivation to do so.
    I can't prove the username goes to my paypal account, because I was told by the user to provide my steam username. At that time, I was unaware paypal can't pay to steam account. I read from the forum this is one of the scam scenarios.

    Ok so we can't review this since we require proving you didn't get paid thru paypal which would have been the formal agreement. Sorry but you being unaware how something works doesn't prove one way or another therefore without the formal agreement the report is Declined.

    I didn't provide paypal account to the transaction as I was told I could get paid by providing steam account. these are claimed screenshots from the buyer.

    This is my second request to report the scammer here. It deserves to get the warning out to the community. If the accused continues with his scamming skills, more victims are or will be out there.

    Nothing has changed here - do not resubmit it - you do not have the required evidence.
    Merging with previous to prevent report spam.
    There is nothing to warn anyone about as this user wasn't found guilty of any wrong doing per policy here.
    Would not be fair to them to be accused of something without proper evidence and called out like that either.
    That reason still applies..sorry but without the formal agreement clearly noted for paypal information we can't verify you didn't get paid ON THAT ACCOUNT - you could post another accounts paypal and we would never know...nobody would.
    So there are requirements on verification for those things and you not giving them the correct information is on you even if you didn't know any better.
    Declined.
