What happened? Description:

I traded this user a Steam item (CS:GO knife ~ M9 Bayonet | Safari Mesh [Minimal Wear], valued at about $120) under the agreement he would pay me $120 via PayPal immediately after the item was traded. As soon as the trade was completed, he blocked me from posting on his profile and has since said nothing to me. I have not received a payment, or any notification of a payment attempt.

This user's profile looks quite credible, which explains how I fell victim to his scam.

I was led to believe this user was a very well-known/legitimate/active trader through the very large amount of positive reputation comments on his page (100+).
