    Scam Report

Report Type: [Other] Any other fraudulent behavior
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198129069712

    Victim profile: 76561198110713513

    What happened? Description:
First I posted a buy post on the subreddit /r/SteamBotMarket looking for a key trading site with some features for earning skins (that is the harder project I refer to in the first chat ss) (https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamBotMarket/comments/74s47f/buying_site_front_and_backend_similar_to/). lebgh0st contacted me on steam to discuss. After a day or so I was convinced to change focus and start a pubg trading site which I decided to go ahead and start with lebgh0st because of his work with bigger names in the industry (ie McSkillet). However now I know that people often act differently based on who they are working for.

We agree on the price of 205 keys to be done within a week (keep in mind this is back in october..) I ask for a sketch of the site before I pay, instead he convinces me of work he has done on trade-skins, which looks generic but pretty much exactly what I was looking for, so sadly that was enough to put any thoughts away about the design. (Third SS)

We agree to 102 keys before and 103 keys after. Over the next few screenshots you can see I pay the 102 keys under the assumption that I will have a website for trading pubg items with a redesign similar to trade-skins.com, within the week.

I have never received anything more than this (https://gyazo.com/b9d02a2c853dd7a894207cb36aac6cf8) from him, where nearly everything is broken. The filters didn't work, trades would never send, the website bonus never worked, let alone the design which was, at most, a 30 min redesign of csg0.trade.

Sadly that is where I stopped taking screenshots of our chat. However he later takes an additional 50 keys, on Oct 14th, which I sold and sent in bitcoin after some progress was made (just enough to convince me he would finnish.)

Please let me know if you need anything else I can do to get more information into what happened. I had some (now) very obvious lapses in judgment.

    Provide Evidence:
Some are not full screen shots of my monitor, but I thought it would be better to include everything I had the foresight to take (poor though it is).

As you can see from the screenshots we agreed on 205 keys, 102 to be paid that day (Oct 8) and the other 103 keys to be paid as soon as the project was completed. I wish I could show the weeks of constant 'reminding' and messages I sent often with no response or some vague excuse.

Eventually he (lebgh0st) just unadded me. If there is anything I can do to gather more evidence I would love to, however as it stands this is all the evidence I have.

Don't accept reports for something like this
    https://forums.steamrep.com/threads/steamrep-investigative-policy.140101/
    Reports we DO NOT investigate:
These reports we will automatically mark as INVALID and will not be researched or actioned:
    1. Proprietary maps, scripts, artwork, video design, copyright, & other server administration disputes
As these fall within the realm of server administration and fall entirely outside of Steam trading, SteamRep does not investigate these (regardless of any precedent set in the past).
