    Scam Report

Report Type: [Money] PayPal scam or scam attempt
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198155117284

    Victim profile: 76561198111734876

    What happened? Description:
He sent me an offer to pay for my skin.

    http://csgolounge.com/trade?t=129039936

He offered me $40 for my $30 skin, which is obvious it is a scam. I went to accept it to have some fun. He told me to set up a Paypal account and he will pay $40. I went and set it up a Paypal using an alternative email address. He proceeded to send me the "$40" and went to the trade. Once we both checked the accept boxes, I called him out.

He starts rambling on and on how he got scammed and how it was a prank, for a "video".

    His Youtube he linked: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCD9v1m7jT-sQIxfiqAs8zNA

There is more to the messages but it was just him trying to gain back my trust.

No, this is really not the case.
I was recording a video, and it was going to be based on how easy people can fall for that kind of stuff, so I made a guy make a paypal and I was gonna accept the trade for an ak and then tell him about the PayPal scam and how easy it is to get scammed, then return his weapon. I have videos on scammers and how pathetic they are, just wanted to show everyone that watched the video that they need to be more careful with their trades, and this guy freaked out about it and posted it everywhere even after me explaining myself. I've been scammed of a bayonet Doppler with 85% blue, I know how it feels. And I'm completely against those f✿✿✿✿✿✿ idiots. I have a video about this scamming method. And this attempt was going to be a video showing that the "PayPal Scam" method really works. I know I was completely capable of doing it differently and after he already accused me there was really nothing I could say that would change his opinion over me of being a scammer. When I'm quite the opposite.

    Hello @FlamingAsianCow,

Unfortunately your report cannot be processed further because the screenshots are cropped which is against our policy.
In the future please follow the requirements which you can see here; https://forums.steamrep.com/threads/report-submission-fundamentals.169802/ https://forums.steamrep.com/threads/screenshot-guide-requirements.157969/
In case if you still happen to have unedited evidence, please contact me and this will be re-opened.

You can report the user to Valve instead
In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accuseds profile
    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT

With that in mind, there isn't enough evidence to prove the accused is guilty of wrongdoing.
    Regardless, thank you for reporting.
