    Scam Report

Report Type: [Money] PayPal scam or scam attempt
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198157290187

    Victim profile: 76561198058472613

    What happened? Description:
The Accused commented on a picture on my steam, about trading my Butterfly Knife Ultraviolet FT. After looking into his profile, he seemed legit. I added him and we shortly discussed on steam. I was not trusting him so he wanted to speak on discord. We jumped in a call and he showed me his accounts and his past trading history (he is also trade banned on one of his mains

), and sent me a friend code to ensure its his account and I don't add someone else. By watching my screen, he confirmed it is the correct account and I went ahead and made the trade offer. When I confirmed the trade offer, I saw him press send on his PayPal.
For the next 10 minutes I'm sat refreshing my PayPal and nothing. He then mutes on discord and "calls his bank manager", he comes back shortly after stating that that because of The Accused making too many international payments recently, his bank account has been limited to sending values MINIMUM 2,000 Canadian $.
He then attempts to take more items from me by stating that he can send me 2000 and I can send back the difference but for him not to get scammed, he wanted me to send a trade offer with items of value, as insurance. This tipped me off and I immediately refused because he could easily just accept the offer and not send the money (as he did with my Butterfly).
I then told him to send the money to my friend in Canada (who I trust), which should not be an issue because its not an international payment, and provided him with the PayPal link. I doubt this is relevant anyway because The Accused said himself he has NOT sent the money (46h from when I sent the PayPal link).

I know that you guys do not accept discord chat logs, but I'm hoping I can get at least some help in this matter, it's the first time I've been scammed like this and do not know what to do. I've listed some information about the Accused below:

I've attached both steam chat, discord chat and my paypal transaction history.

Sorry we do not review any evidence thru discord which you clearly went to for discussing the agreement.
You knew we didn't review such logs, or such reports with them and yet you made the report anyway - highly unacceptable!
You were noted the below link prior to clicking the submit a report button but must have over looked it - please do not do so in the future.
