What happened? Description:

Someone offered me a obvious scam overpay for my Butterfly Urban masked by offering a Stattrak Falchion knife. When i added him he proclaimed that his knife was on his diffrent account and he used this account for trading/security. Very sketchy so i went along with it because I find scammers entertaining as they panic to assure you that this isn't a scam.

He then went on to say that if i had a friend online who could "hold" onto my knife (he never gave a reason towards this) however i thought it was funny so i continued to pretend that I was a complete ✿✿✿✿✿✿ and follow his steps. I used my brothers account as the person who will "hold onto" this knife of mine. He then left the chat, kicked my brother and started a new one where he has a friend who's ID is http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198132014038

(i didn't know if i had to post twice to report his accomplice) however this guy had disguised himself as my brothers account quite cheaply then said "hey brothers" then "trade him your knife" i knew it wasn't him after checking his profile and obviously seeing a load of videos of this on YouTube (such as this )

I then traded him pretended i will do the trade and then exited and revealed that I knew what they was doing. They promptly left the group chat.

Sorry one is cropped but nothing else was said to the fake user, that's just evidence he did try to trade me.
