    What happened? Description:
    Never met this person before, probably added me from a random steamgroup.

    The scammer added me and offered to trade my FT Butterfly night for his Tiger Tooth M9.

    I played along to see what his plan was. He said he wanted to see " the pattern index, defindex and skin index "
    I gave him a screenshot from csgo.exchange about the details of my knife.

    He said that was not enough and that he needed all 3.

    So he gave me a link to this site : http://csgotier.com

    I didn't login, I just checked.

    The site has horrible reviews and is considered a scam by the people who visited it. Also when you login. Unlike with legit steam API sites this one gives an obviously fake link and when you click on things like login or steam logo, it returns in an error.

    anyhow i told him i'm not logging into the scam site, he tried persuading me but failed and removed me.​

    Unfortunately, SteamRep does not accept reports dealing with hijacking/phishing/hacking -Due to current Investigative Policy

    This includes anything to do with API key requests, wrong or misspelled URL's and sites requesting logins of any type in attempts to steal your credentials.
    These are phishing/hijacking attempts and are not to be reported to SteamRep!

    You can report the user to Valve instead
    In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accuseds profile
    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT
