What happened? Description:

I was able to get the person to unblock me and I added them back. I now am able to access the chat log.

Stole 2 keys from me. They asked me to buy them 4 keys, in return they would use a refund they got on steam to give me some strange parts equal to 10 dollars. I gave them 2 keys first and would give them the other 2 once the parts were tradable. A few days later, they asked me if they could just give me 2 of the parts and sell the ones they had and just keep the 2 keys. I refused as once a deal is made, I don't change it. So they then unadded me, blocked me, and sold the parts keeping the two keys I gave them for free.


Only after I threatened them with the reports on here and backpack did he even try to do anything. It was after that he unblocked me and put a message on my profile trying to apologize. However, I will not let this slide simply for that. He would not have returned to me trying unless I had done these reports.

i was asking because i guess i bought it at an ideal time because the prices have gone up and if i sold out half it would be equel to $10
so i would've doubles my revenue

if i give you Spies Killed Part & Taunt Kills Part and you trade it on scrap.tf its equal to about 7 dollars worth
so its a gain for you
and you can keep your keys
and i can sell the Dominations Part for another $7.50
So you get a 1 key profit and i get a 1 key profit
but if you say no thats okay too it just gives both of us more if we do it this way

The agreement was to finish the trade as soon as the strange parts he bought off the market would become tradable. Instead he turned around and sold them again and kept the two keys I sent him to start.

Yes. Only after I said he'd been reported did he start trying to scramble to apologize to me and say he felt bad. After he added me back he was trying to get me to take a copy of some games with mixed reviews for $10 or to take anything else from his inventory to try and make it up. Which he doesn't have much. I've then told him I expect to get my 2 keys back or at least 2 of the parts he promised me but he can't until he gets money in the summer he said. So i'm still down two keys that I gave him and he has nothing to offer now except two crappy games that I won't get anything from.
Whether he's being genuine or not, he still needs to learn the lesson from this the hard way. I can submit the following chat record in a moment.

My point with that I mean is that I can't just let this go because he suddenly says he's sorry after "He's caught". Or scammers and hackers all around would be able to get away with this stuff if all they had to do to get out of it was act like they are sorry when someone calls them out on it.
