What happened? Description:

I was selling a Secret to Everybody Well-Rounded Rifleman in Team Fortress 2 when the accused had added me. Nothing about the accused looked out of the ordinary and the spoke normal and even negotiated back and forth with me for a while. They had 17 +rep on backpack.tf with a numerous amount of them being 200 USD + in Paypal purchases. This further solidified my trust with the accused. We, over time, agreed on a price of $1,550 USD on the item being sold.

They sent me a trade offer and told me to let them know when I accept. This, was in retrospect, the lapse in my judgement that costed me the item. The accused informed me they received the item. Then further told me to wait a second due to bank securities. Then finally, they blocked me.
