What happened? Description:

Scammed out of knife (BTC). I went first and he immediately blocked me and did not send the money. Changed his name and set his profile private.​

Provide Evidence:

I talked to this guy for 2 days about buying my knife. We agreed on $500 BTC and I went first. He did not send the btc and immediately blocked me after the trade was complete. I should have used a middleman but didn't. Complete scammer.​

Another thing to know is that his inventory was very valuable(at least $5,000+) and he had lots of rep. Could be stolen account

Update: Got my items back from him.

Doesn't change the fact that hes a scammer.

You can report the user to Valve instead
In order to do that, you have to:
1. Visit the accuseds profile
2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
5. Click SUBMIT REPORT

With that in mind, there isn't enough evidence to prove the accused is guilty of wrongdoing.
