    Scam Report

Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198425647406

    Victim profile: 76561198012914428

    What happened? Description:
Hi, I was confronted with one person (the accused) trying to tell me that they accidentally reported my profile for duped items. I followed through with them and I was redirected to a second account of a so-called Steam Admin (https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198144108263/). This admin attempted to make me trade my items for verification. I managed to grab their IP address through a grabify link, but I'm sure that's irrelevant to you guys. In this case, I have two accuseds.

I am not sure if I should be splitting this report up into two separate reports (as I believe they are the same person) but I have provided all of the screenshots anyways. Please let me know if I should make a second report for the fake steam admin with the URL (https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198144108263/).

No you make ONE report and reference others involved exactly as you did it. Thanks!
The only issue here I can't prove or find proof you were ever friends with this user and therefore reporting the correct user and not an impersonator @c0ld

Thanks - issue is I can't confirm you were ever friends with this exact user by SteamID - all I see is a chat box with a name and profile image. Need to verify this and you can do that with a screenshot of your friend/user activity thru a web browser - when you take this and it shows you adding the user hover your mouse pointer over the users name so it shows the popup of the profile. Make sure you open this in a web browser before doing anything rather than steam client. Take the screenshot and make sure it's Full Screen and make sure steam client URL is enabled, not edited or cropped in any way! Upload HERE…NOT imgur, NOT gyazo or any other 3rd party hosting site!

Please review this screenshot guide to help you:

I am really not sure why the fake steam admin guy is not showing up on my activity. My activity is actually missing around 4 or 5 people I've added recently, oddly enough. Is there something I am missing? Regardless, I have the accused's screenshot of adding me.

Thanks, will review again soon - nothing else needed at this time and there is no need to post anything more.
Feel free to review what you have provided and take the time to see what things you can do to prevent running into users like this in the future.
