    Report Type: [Money] PayPal scam or scam attempt
    Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198437463804

    Victim profile: 76561198056201457

    What happened? Description:
    I decided to sell my knife on the steam market.
    Since that i received some people adding me to trade/ scam me i guess(i was right).

    And then this guy : level 218 , a lot of trades, so i went : yea lets try to trade the knife.

    We started a chat on steam.
    He proposed me to sell the knife for $390 with paypal.

    I saw his profile was on steamrep but i didn't saw the paypalscam report at this time.
    (So i'm very dumb indeed)

    The guy even gives me his facebook and adds me to his " facebook csgo trading group". Then he ask them if hes a legit trader and like 10 of them say hes was legit. So i sent the trade :

    He since blocked me on Steam and Facebook.​

    Provide Evidence:
    I sent all the steam and facebook screenshots from our conversations.

    @Ress You saw the user was tagged here yet you let the talk you into saying it was false.. the tags are done so for a reason but sadly you didn't trust it...now you do.
    We don't review edited screenshots nor do we review facebook chats..so I don't need those but I do need the screenshot of the paypal address you gave that you edited - completed UNEDITED before I can do do more... also keep in mind since the user is already banned/tagged here there is nothing more we can really do aside from add one more final note..and hopes that others like yourself see this and don't ignore it.

    Yes my goal is to add a note under the other paypal scam.
    If i could make a suggestion : increase the size of the links with scams on the steamrep page.


    Now i want to give you the paypal address from the steam chat but i don't have it since he blocked me and i can't look at the chat anymore.
    The address was [email protected]. i sent the cagnote email to show you.

    That is not what I asked for - and adding another note won't help anything if you ignore the big red BANNED notice already on the users profile..no matter how big it is it won't matter if you just ignore it.
    The user tricked you and it happens - just be more careful from now on and follow my advise on just ignoring these users all together.
    Now - please read what I asked and provide a FULL screenshot of the chat screen that is NOT edited or I can't review this.

    As i said. I don't have the original screen and the steam chat is gone since he blocked me.
    The email i received is an evidence for the paypal cagnote i created. i don't have anything to show here.

    Yeah I can't review the report much more at this point - rest assured that the user is still banned/tagged here anyway and there isn't much more we could have done otherwise.
    Be sure to never edit screenshots for evidence provided to reports here in the future.
