    What happened? Description:
    The accused contacted me, claiming that I had a pending ban report and that Steam admin would permanently ban me if I didn't do something to prove myself. He also sent a video showing the impending ban being put in place. I have heard of this scam before, and refused to play along. Please deal with this individual as soon as possible.​

    Did you have any more of the chat? Also please do FULL screenshots not cropped chat boxes next time.
    Also want a FULL screen of the users profile WHILE friends..helps verify identity. Lucky I was able to determine this another way but that is rare.

    Sorry, that's all I have. When I realized that I was being reeled in for a scam, my focus was on filing a report so as to help prevent other people from getting scammed. And I never friended this person.

    It's enough but there may have been another account involved but who knows at this point.
    Slow down get all evidence before rushing to make a report.. you can report to Valve at any point.

    Your report was accepted and the accused was banned. Feel free to report a violation via their Steam profile.

    In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accuseds profile
    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT
