    Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
    Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198850802591

    Victim profile: 76561198000344193

    What happened? Description:
    I found someone on reddit selling CSGO keys for BTC

    I added the person, who's real account is the following:

    and commented that I had added to buy keys from him on his profile

    Within 2 minutes of making the comment, I was added by the accused, with the same name and profile picture

    The conversation in "impersonator.png" occurred, during which time the accused removed me from his friends list and changed his name and picture to the person who commented immediately before me on 海底捞 Keys>BTC's page:

    I see no scam here - no impersonation with intent to defraud.
    What else do you have? You must show/prove intent to defraud.... Impersonation alone is not a reportable offense.

    I believe that is more than enough information, but I will write below some other stuff...

    Events in relation to myself conspired as follows:
    1. I find reddit post, and add a user to buy some keys for BTC. I post on his wall (public) why I added him, so he knows I'm not a spam add.
    2. A user with the same name and profile picture sends me a friend request - I'll admit I didn't catch his same profile picture, but you can see in the screenshot of his profile the previous name.
    3. He tries to convince me he is the "negotiating account" of a person to whom I intend to pay BTC in exchange for CSGO keys
    4. I call him out and he deletes me and immediately changes his profile name and picture
    I will add that he is a banned user on backpack.tf with a -7 trust score not including my vote:
    and has two other reports for similar conduct, both coincidentally rejected by yourself:
    On top of this you can also see his steamrep history, in which is name appears as that of several large and well known traders

    Other reports are irrelevant to this one - I don't look at them. I look entirely at what is provided here.
    I asked if you had anything else to show impersonation with clear intent to defraud you didn't provide but rather tried to insinuate something was going on with linking to other reports or whatever backpack has... what BP has for trust or negative ranking or whatever doesn't mean nothing here...absolutely nothing.
    So with that I'm rejecting this one for lack of evidence...there is no intent to defraud here.
    Impersonation alone is not a reportable offense nor is name usage of anyone for that matter.
    Sorry but that is the final decision.
