    Scam Report

Report Type: [Item Fraud] Quick-switch trade scam or attempt
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561199011542634

    Victim profile: 76561199013590278

    What happened? Description:
I joined the Group CS:GO Trading and decided to join the group chat when I paste what I'm looking for, I got a notification that this guy said hi to me. then i responded back assuming that he has a gut knife either lre or autotronic ft or at least a good offer. so he said if I'm interested in trading my knife i said yeah sure depends on the offer. and the chat kept going until he went on with the "can i see the pattern index of your knife" that set me off and i know he would give me a suspicious fraud third party fraud site. i tried keeping the conversation going and he really wants to take control on my API so informed that he was scamming and me a guy that has no intentions and just want to trade my knife for a more good looking skin, is just frustrating and the moment i thought i was about to have a willing trader to actually send me the offer without adds is so good but this guy, just wanted to destroy that dream. i hope my information is viable enough. here are some screenshots via steam chat.

    Provide Evidence:
first image is the first chat of him to me that's when i thought he has what i want as well as him requesting for a pattern index. second screenshot is where i asked where does that screenshot came from and by that sending the URL link of where he got it from was already a scam. i refused to click and went on with going to csgo exchange to check where my pattern index can be found he tried to consider me to use his scam site and still i refused i tried researching where to get the pattern index of an item then i saw on an article, csgoro.com came up and i believe its a legit site. maybe. (haven't checked it tho) i said it that ill look on csgoro then. then he sent me another link and I've encountered that second site before with a scammer whos trying to throw me off to check what's the itemshops price of my knife. then basically it was an attempt of scam and the last ones basically me getting frustrated and flaming him. and kinda troll him as well.
