    What happened? Description:
    Report on Scammer "karnathu1" who scams people out of CSGO knives on Steam trading platform using fake PayPal payment proofs.

    Introduction:
    Recently, there have been reports of a scammer operating on Steam trading platform under the username "karnathu1". The scammer has been targeting users who are selling CSGO knives and has been using fake PayPal payment proofs to trick them into releasing the knives without actually receiving any payment. In this report, we will detail the activities of this scammer and provide some recommendations for how to avoid falling victim to such scams.

    Activities of "karnathu1":
    "Karnathu1" has been actively approaching users on Steam trading platform who are selling CSGO knives. He offers to buy the knife at the listed price and requests that the seller trade the knife to him first, promising that he will send payment via PayPal once he receives the knife. He then sends a screenshot of a fake PayPal payment confirmation to the seller, which appears to show that payment has been made.

    However, the PayPal payment confirmation is not genuine, and the scammer has not actually made any payment. Once the seller releases the knife to "karnathu1", the scammer disappears and the seller is left without the knife or payment.​

    Don't review 3rd party reports, only victim can submit the report also no pdf's images only and must have proper evidence such as full screenshots from steam chat showing all the conversation and formal agreement which doesn't appear to be having.
    Please be sure that if the victim is told that they understand they must provide ALL PROPER EVIDENCE or we will not review it here they can report to Valve instead.
