What happened? Description:

The connection was made through a random friend request, where from there they would comment that I (VacuousSaturn) did not look like a trader, but would continue anyway. I naively displayed interest as they were acting rather friendly. They would then send a link to the inventory of "The Nervous Pyro", an inventory that was not their own under the guise of setting up a trade offer. I would come back to this chat and eventually realize that the Steam profiles did not match, with their actual ID under their profile being "MacroGamingYT13150", whose inventory is made private. There were no more communications after this point other than me saying pointing out that they were scamming, where they then asked if I really thought they were scamming, which I didn't answer back.​

Apologies for the phone format of the chat log. I had unfriended the scammer on Steam before I was making the report. I hope this is sufficient enough evidence.​
