What happened? Description:

I am submitting this report due to this user attempting to scam others. This is a common scam technique and I do not want anybody to fall for this person. I received a friend request from someone and they claim to be an Administrator of a tf2 site. Thankfully I do know how these scams work, however I just wanted to play along to his tricks. I made an alternate steam account and followed what he tried to do. At the end, I called him out and he stopped responding. He is trying to make his profile look as legitimate as possible (buying games and playing games.) Although it may look like a façade, you can notice that he has ZERO achievements or items in tf2, meaning he is already shady. I did not lose any items in the process, however I want to make sure this scam does not happen to others. I have uploaded evidence of this user and the chat log.​

I set up and alternate account and just as I though, this is one of those “bet your items scams.” I have already screenshotted this entire conversation and will report it to steam. You don’t even have any tf2 items besides the default ones!? How am I supposed to trust you. Nevertheless I played a trick on you and you fell for it. Have fun getting trade banned!

Listen, stop trying to scam others out of their tf2 items, it is uncool
Also your 256 hours on tf2 are idle hours, you don’t have any achievements at all
Same goes for csgo and dota 2
