What happened? Description:

This guy added me after seeing me on a Minecraft trade server on Team Fortress 2, and added me, asking me if my Unusual Lucky Cat Hat was for sale, which at first, I told him it was not for sale, but kept trying to convince me to trade it to him, saying that he will pay me $3000 for it via PayPal, but I wasn't too sure about if this was legit or not. It started on Steam Chat, and then asked me to move the conversation to Discord, saying that "steam isn't stable for him," and that's when it got fishy. I messaged a good friend of mine and got him into the chat, hoping that my suspicions were correct, and they were proven to be right when the accused left the call after he knew of what was happening, therefore proving that he's a scammer, and my friend told me the same exact thing along with telling me that the items displayed on his profile are fake since we saw that his inventory on backpack wasn't publicly active, and then he suggested that I report the guy here. I attached Steam Chat images and a capture of the accused profile to this report along with an audio file of the call I had with the guy, I hope I did everything right and provided enough detail and evidence for this to be investigated.​
