    Scam Report

Report Type: [Other] Any other fraudulent behavior
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561199202722994

    Victim profile: 76561198174859481

    What happened? Description:
I sent the trader an offer not realizing that one of the items I had picked the 2nd time around was worth substantially less than the item I was supposed to choose. I unfortunately had to go to hospital for a checkup about 10 minutes after I had sent the offer and was unable to take my phone with me so I couldn't cancel or double-check the offer. Once I got home I noticed the trade was accepted shortly after I sent it and I also realized I'd put in the wrong item of theirs, but they accepted anyway. This person seemed like a legitimate and honest trader (since they have $100,000 usd in items allegedly) but evidently not. I've tried to contact them, tried to get more out of them, but to no success. They are straight up ignoring me and declining trade requests etc so I think it's time to prevent this from potentially happening to anyone else. I know it's almost entirely my fault for not double checking before confirming the trade offer but I was in a rush to get to the hospital and didn't second guess it, but their actions are deceitful nonetheless and should be punished, it's basically the same as someone giving a retailer the wrong note but the retailer keeps all of it instead of giving the customer back the change - it's theft.

    Provide Evidence:
I've sent the screenshots of trade history and their profile. I was supposed to have a StatTrak Awp Asiimov in there to the value of $200 NZD, which would have made the trade 1:1 in value, but there wasn't one in there, not sure if it just didn't get added due to a misclick or I was in such a rush to get the trade sent that I didn't add it when I thought I did. Either way they didn't think twice about taking $200+ off my hands even though they have $100,000 allegedly.
It's just sad if anything, would like to see this dishonest person red flagged on Steamrep so it's incredibly hard for them to trade in the future. Ideally I'd like them trade banned on Steam but that's pretty hard to get to happen.

Nothing provided suggests/shows this user is or was guilty of any wrong doing per policy.

    Declined.

Either way Steam gives you TWO times to confirm a trade - it isn't a scam if you submitted the wrong offer or accepted the wrong offer, its just a mistake on your part and thus not valid to report someone for. Not almost your fault....it is entirely your fault regardless of what you were doing.
