    Scam Report

Report Type: [Item Fraud] Quick-switch trade scam or attempt
Virtual item type involved: [DOTA2] Dota2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561199212332014

    Victim profile: 76561198049748344

    What happened? Description:
Used dotagiftx, sent a friend request to add this profile and left a comment on his profile https://dotagiftx.com/profiles/76561198797753358 .

An impersonator, the scammer who I am reporting added me. I was dumb enough to accept his trade request. He then sent me a link to csbrawl, a password grabber. Fortunately I was not dumb enough to accept this. I reported the impersonator to dotagiftx and steam, am reporting it here as well so hopefully no one else falls for it.

Let me know if there is any other info I can provide, or if there is any issue with the screenshots provided.

    Provide Evidence:
Screenshots are uploaded below. They should follow the guidelines and be sufficient. If not, let me know.

Unfortunately, SteamRep does not accept reports dealing with hijacking/phishing/hacking -Due to current Investigative Policy
    http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/investigative-policy.140101/

This includes anything to do with API key requests, wrong or misspelled URL's and sites requesting logins of any type in attempts to steal your credentials.
These are phishing/hijacking attempts and are not to be reported to SteamRep!
This was clearly noted to you BEFORE You sent to submit the report - please do not ignore our policies/notifications that are there to read before submission.
