What happened? Description:

Presented as a legit cash trader, quite convincingly. I've dealt with thousands of scammers before and usually they are easy to identify. Initially met him about a year ago, when I posted a pricecheck on reddit and he helped me out. He runs a discord server called !Wings with a decent amount of members there. I looked him up, looked at his friends and he seemed legit, even had mutual friends who I've traded with in the past.

Because I needed money urgently didn't do enough due diligence and got scammed out of a Talon Ruby. He edited and deleted his messages from discord convo afterwards and I didn't take screenshots before. Most of the agreement was done over a voice call, so I don't have any record of that either.

You say you don't accept discord, but I assume if the scam was successful and the trade happened that doesn't apply since there is a paper trail.​
