What happened? Description:

This trader added me and began a conversation negotiating a high value trade for all my expensive items. I noticed that his steam account was really high level and that he had a lot of positive rep comments on his account. So in good faith I sent across items to him on 3 different occasions. I am quite new to the trading scene and how steam trades work in general. So when he told me that his account had a trade cooldown due to mobile authenticator being reset or something, I did not think much of it since he had such good reps and a high level account with a clean steamrep as well. But as days went by, he kept stalling with sending his side of the bargain and when I wanted my items back he kept stalling again. Eventually he agreed to send the items by the 15th of August. He then proceeded to go offline and change his steam username to TOFU (AFK until 17th) and privated his profile. I got suspicious and messaged him about it and he said he was travelling and wouldnt be on a PC until 15th. I had no choice but to believe him and decided to wait. Two days ago, he unfriended and blocked all communication with me. He stole all my high value items except my golden necro which I refused to part with under any circumstances. I have attached all the screenshots of our steam conversations and you can see what happened. My friend also reached out to him because he blocked me and as soon as my friend did that, he immediately changed his name on steam and privated the account and changed the links. Please give me justice and protect others from this blatant scam artist.​

Please make sure this person does not do this to others. I was naive to trust this person thinking he is a legit trader. Please don't let him do this to other newbies like me.

What happened? Description:

I reported this user for scamming me in a previous thread which was closed by Horse because apparently there wasn't enough evidence. This scammer added me again today acting like he had a change of heart all of a sudden and we had a full fledged conversation on steam where he pretty much confirms that he did scam me (at least for anyone with a brain who reads the conversation and can put things together logically. Previous thread on this matter was -

This scammer was really interested in getting my golden necro the first time and this time he basically came back for it because he couldnt get that one off me along with the items he scammed me of the first time.​

His steamrep shows a wrong custom profile url that links to nothing. His actual steam url is the one shown in the screenshots which you can check on steamid.xyz or any other verification tool. The upload button wasnt working for more files so i archived the proof and uploaded it on a cloud and have shared the link here. Please do go through it. This guy is just shameless and needs to be banned.
