What happened? Description:

(main conversation didnt happen on steam, but I have a fullscreen recording of the entire thing, and dont want to leave it wasted. Alone the account used and Trade offer made could be enough. If this isnt in the guidelines / rules im terribly sorry for wasting your time. )

im aware that steam sends Emails to inform of trade bans etc.

on 15.12.2022 21:13 the first message of a steam admin scam setup was exchanged between me and 2 discord accounts leading to a Steam admin setup and then a "item database check" resulting in a total of 1 trade offer made, containing most of my more valuable items + a strange cleaners carbine and Strange Dalokohs Bar.

(ill be referring to the first account as user and the other as admin)

The Scam went pretty on script, so the User told he accidentally reported me for scamming (after asking it turned out to be a alleged PayPal transaction scam), from someone who is impersonating me. coincidentally I actually have a Alt account with my name, I use to play LAN terraria with my brother.
the User shared a "screenshot of the ticket (view screenshots for the image)" which said for the victim to clear the report to contact [actual steam community address of a steam helper] and Impersonation discord account of the same helper.

The Admin texted in the typical "do what I say (or else)" with that annoying list feature discord has I cant read well, the script feels like its laid out to be run on steam, since there doesn't have to be a relation between a discord having linked a steam and an actual steam account and the first account tried verifying if that was my account, but I actually went off topic for it.

the conversation went almost like expected, going over the (impending) " ban pending " , there's a problem in your account to "Item Database is now done processing try to check your Steam Notification, The Database has Random Pick item that is suspicious to determine the fraud items."

I have a full screen recording that has a length of about 45 minutes Ill be providing, in it you can visibly see at the end that a trade offer is sent from this account that is trying to impersonate steam staff (?).

Even if this is worth nothing, I've never seen them use a actual helper ID to say to friend them, but the actual helper account has friend requests for obvious reasons disabled to lead to back to a offsite platform that isn't as expensive to operate or have the same value as evidence as it would have been on steam, getting the malicious trade offer. I can provide the (discord) chatlogs if requested.

it took me like 1.3h to get this done, I will submit it, cancel the ticket if it doesn't fit you, I have a few more on steam conversations on disk I might submit another day (its 1:30 here im dying), ill probably be back online ~10am.​
