    What happened? Description:
    API scam. The suspect was impersonating a tradebot from tradeit,gg and sent me an offer that it gave nothing to me for all my items originally intended to be sent to the real tradebot.​

    Unfortunately, SteamRep does not accept reports dealing with hijacking/phishing/hacking -Due to current Investigative Policy

    This includes anything to do with API key requests, wrong or misspelled URL's and sites requesting logins of any type in attempts to steal your credentials.
    These are phishing/hijacking attempts and are not to be reported to SteamRep!
    This was clearly noted to you BEFORE You sent to submit the report - please do not ignore our policies/notifications that are there to read before submission.

    You can report the user to Valve instead
    In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accuseds profile
    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT

    What happened? Description:
    API scam. I was trading on tradeit.gg for items (1st picture)which the trade was intended to look like the 4th picture. I received that trade offer from a legit bot. But when I was going for confirmation, the scam bot intercepted, cancelled the legit trade offer(4th picture) and changed it into a fake trade (2nd and 3rd picture). I was not aware of this and thought the scam bot was the trade bot from tradeit.gg. When I found out I did not received the items, I knew I was scammed. The Scammer may have taken my API address on scam sites before. Pictures 5-9 are the inventory of the scam bot.​

    Stop wasting our time and trying to force the report - the report is INVALID because of API scam - we do not review that.
    I'm merging with previous to prevent report spam but you were clearly told on the link below prior to the report we don't review such things and then again when you tried to submit it a few mins ago.
    Final decision - INVALID due to policy.
