    Reporting a user here does not guarantee that you will get your items back. It is a required part of the appeal process for the marked user to return them, though.

    When you send an item and there is no item intended for you to receive your item is considered a gift. In the future be sure there is an item intended for you to receive. There is no such thing as item verification, there is no need for a middleman in a 1-for-1 trade, and no Valve staff will ever add you. Also if you ever need to report again, read all the help documentation so you can format your report in the correct way and have all relevant evidence.
