    Report Type: [Money] PayPal scam or scam attempt
    Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198031375173 (Blabla)

    Victim profile: 76561198083596514

    What happened? Description:
    Player added me and offered a good price for my backpack and offered it by means of PayPal. He then provided me with the rep of someone he was impersonating. All checked out (at the time) so I traded away my backpack going first. He then immediately went offline and wouldn't respond to my comments after. Intentionally scammed me out of $1130 and I would like it back!​

    Below is chat history, trade history and a screenshot of my recent activity with paypal (aka none). I am also working on a report to valve in hopes I can get my items back. IDK if this site has any leverage when it comes to getting items back but I sure hope it does.

    Do people have a sense for how long Valve takes to respond to such scams and if I have any chance of getting my items back?

    Valve usually takes about 2 weeks to respond to you. then usually a week to review. but dont lose hope.
