What happened? Description:

Friend Impersonation

During a series of events, I was asked by a friend, SteamID64: 76561198037226535, to act as a middleman to trade back and forth an item to check its status as a "dupe". In the process, I was also asked to trade my own knife to verify my trust. Due to the first time nature of this incident and my inexperience in CS:GO trading, I was unaware that these were red flags concerning friend impersonation scams. The accused initiated a group chat with the friend impersonator, SteamID64: 76561198132122537, and the impersonator was able to send a trade request without being required to be added as a friend.​

The accused, 76561198156610195, was the one who initiated the group chat with a friend impersonation account, 76561198132122537, that managed the scam the items off me.
