I then bought the wrap from someone, traded this guy the gift wrap, as soon as the trade was done he un-friended me, so I'm posting it on here.

How?..

Apologies. Go to your inventory and at the top left, there should be a button next to "privacy settings" titled "View Inventory Histroy". Click that, and post a full, un-cropped picture of your trade history (Including the trade involving the scam, of course)

if you want to make a screenshot you do this
"ctrl+prt scr"

then you open Paint and you paste it there,

then upload the picture to Imgur or Tinpic

Looks like he realized he doesn't wanna get banned, he added me and traded it back to me earlier, here's a shot of my trade history:
