Description: Found me on steamtrades, added me and started talking about trades. Agreed to make a trade and was scammed - as shown with pics of chat. Let me know if you need additional info.
Sorry it happened to you too, guess there's a bunch of motherless SOBs out there eh? I reported him to Steam Support also btw, couldn't find an official reporting thread on steamtrades, this scammer should have been blacklisted before he had a chance to slime other folks.
Thanks for the helpful comment oh wise one. Some keys are not tradeable through the inventory trading system and thousands of legit key trades happen every day. If someone has good rep then it's not immediately obvious its a scammer. Talk about victim-blaming.
Btw I found out the little scrotum is only 14 and plays bf3 a lot: http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/user/KepTenHizo/ Doubt it helps anything, but there it is.
I was scammed by the same guy. My screenshots don't help so much, and i don't know if i could report him on steamrep...
Hello, can you prove that the key you gave is valid? Hidden Content: **Hidden Content: Content of this hidden block can only be seen by members of (usergroups: Administrative, Moderating).**
If you're planning on buying games, just buy the games through steam trading, not keys. Keep that in mind.
I wasn't intending to buy games, I was trading some surplus keys I had from previously bought games at a discount from an authorized reseller. Since these keys were not eligible to go through steam trading it was not an option. I have had successful trades this way with honest traders. Despite what you may think is helpful advice, in this particular case it isn't, it just comes off as a condescending lecture. So please have some self-awareness in your dealings with others.
First of all i didn't trade "items" for "game keys".. i traded game keys for game keys.. i had 2 i was trading for one. So to be fair, i traded one, expected him to trade his then would give him the remaining. His was invalid and i refused to give my last one. Oh "Mighty" Kamina, does this not meet the guidlines of your amazing wisdom? Are you seriously on this forum just to talk crap to other people who got scammed? If so, you're a righteous hate farmer who should feel what it's like to get scammed.
Thanks much for the support, and i agree. Terrible people are abound in this world, either by taking advantage of other people or by thinking they know better in every instance. Much love <3
Hello, yes i can prove that the key is valid. I have a screenshot of the email giving me the key from Getgamesgo.com. Let me know if you need anything else.
Hello, Unfortunately, we don't accept report involving Steam gifts or CD keys / codes. As such I will have to invalidate this report. Thanks for the report nevertheless.
