    Description:

    I just traded 20 keys for a Timebreaker with the user Pacan-trader

    In the trade window, I added the 20 keys and he added the Dota 2 cosmetic item (timebreaker) and we clicked accept for the trade. I made sure his item was in his trading window before accepting to trade. But it shows after the trade that I gained no item but I lost 20 treasure keys. And the user immediately goes offline

    Yes, you can say its partially my fault and greediness since nobody trades a Timebreaker (Dota 2 cosmetic item) for 20 keys (its 28 keys actually) but that doesnt still condone the scam!

    I am not sure how he did it. He didn't quickswitch it as far as I know. He had the item in the trading window and hit accept after I had the keys put in. I checked everything before hitting accept and than trade. But when trade was over. It mentioned no items.

    And no, I dont have a screenshot of the trade itself as I didnt think I wud get scammed! :(

    If the trade completed while he had the item in, it should have gone through. Perhaps a glitch occurred? Contact Steam Support, I don't believe we can help you here (that is, if he didn't quickswitch it).

    Well, i did report to steam and they trade banned the guy but said all sales are final and closed the ticket. :(
