Reporting what I believe was a scam attempt, which if it was, failed: Victim: | steamname: Glitchy | steamID32: STEAM_0:1:30499393 | steamID64: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198021264515 | customURL: | steamrep: http://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198021264515 Scammer: | steamname: Brilly | steamID32: STEAM_0:0:57197072 | steamID64: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198074659872 | customURL: | steamrep: http://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198074659872 Screenshot of Chat: http://i40.tinypic.com/6ih3rl.jpg Description: This user randomly added me, saying he had seen one of my trades on TF2OP concerning keys. No trades were done with him that day. but we stayed friended for perhaps a trade in the future. Out of nowhere, he says there will be a great unusual raffle later He tells me I can join for a certain metal price. Soon afterwards, he goes on to say that if I give him keys, he will "fluke" the raffle, and announce me the winner. I figured it was a pretty obvious scam. At this point I stopped talking to him, and started to figure out how to report this user on steamrep (first time encountering a possible scammer and reporting). While I was gone, he kept asking and goading me to give him keys so he can guarantee I win the unusual. After doing this for a while he just unfriends. Unfortunately, I accidentally closed the chat window, so unless there are logs that I am unaware of somewhere (he already unfriended so I cannot get history from there), I cannot get a transcript. Picture should suffice, though, at least I hope so. Please, alert me if there is anything else I can do to help this investigation.

An actual victim contacted me, http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198072241551 He was scammed out of a S. Pan by the same person using the same method. He approached me since the scammer had claimed that I would be the person holding the raffle. Personally I think that not many actual victims would come forward with a screenshot since it also proves that they are scammers (they pay with the intention of screwing the other raffle participants). Genius. Anyways, while he does have screenshots I am unsure if he will come forward. I asked him to file a report.
