Description: I can't believe I've ended up posting here (I thought I was past the ability to be scammed), but I fell for a convincing scam. This alt (I assume) posted on my trade on outpost saying he'd 1:1 his crate 40 for my premium. I added him and told him I was willing to do the trade, but he told me that he couldn't trade without a premium upgrade. Immediately alarm bells started going off in my head but I saw how "nooby" he was acting and kind of sympathised with him, so I decided to trust him. I traded him the upgrade first on the pretext that he would upgrade then trade me back the salvaged and a couple of weps (at this point I was actually planning on selling the 40 for its actual price and giving him back a key so that it was a fair deal for both of us). Well he took the upgrade and deleted me and thus I am reminded that trusting people on the internet that you have known for 5 minutes is foolish and that I need to work on my gullibility.

Sorry about that. I'm not too sure what it means by "do not show your account name" though, as surely that's the only way to confirm it is my trade history.

well that's the price for doing such risky trades!

This is ridiculous. It's been 11 days since I filed this. How has he not been marked yet? You have enabled this guy to continue what he was doing, likely scamming others. Surely it can't be that hard to review the evidence and take appropriate action.

I too filled a similar report about this guy .. now over a month or so
