**The Trade**
He added me on steam claiming he saw my trade on outpost and was interested in my unusual. I was wanting around £30 for my hat, and he offered £38 paypal which is more than what I asked for.

Once you see me join in and attempt to act as a MiddleMan, we already suspect that this user is a scammer but want to see how he reacts once a MM is called. His response was ditching and removing the Victim from his friend's list.

We know this because by looking at the scammer's backpack, we see he has quite a bit of items. However, a scammer almost usually never gets items on his own. Because of this hypothesis, I went into backpack.tf, and I checked the origins of the weapons in our scammer's account. According to the item history, almost every single item is from the same guy. The scammer's main account. Based on the scammer's main, he is from Lithuania. As you can see in other pictures of chat logs, his English isn't strictly speaking perfect. Lithuanians don't have perfect English either.
With the ties of the scammer's items originating from the main account and the way in which they both speak, we can conclude that the scammer's main account is the one that is linked above. In case the scammer's alt's backpack will be set to private, I took some screenshots of these items. Keep in mind that these are not all of them, just some of them.

Please keep in mind that these are just pictures of some of the items, not all of them. There are a lot more that are from the same person. It would be fantastic to get him and his alt marked as scammers. Thanks!

Not much else I can say to this, but fortunately no successful scam was made. However on his backpack.tf timeline you can see a quick increase of value, roughly about $100, and it goes back down again. This could be linked to a successful scam in the past but we have no solid evidence at this point in time.

Also, huge props to imyourdeepestfear for putting in his time to making this thread for me as I am a newbie who has never dealt with scam reporting before.
