Manipulation of +rep

    Hey everyone, I noticed that on this page, someone is claiming to giveaway a knife, and to enter, you have to +rep his page. This is becoming a new trend, but wouldn't this be pretty suspicious and possibly breaking the rules of the steamrep system? This guy could basically scam anyone now.

    We don't have a "+rep" system. Anyone who told you otherwise is wrong. On the contrary, we urge people to NOT take any kind of "+rep" comments seriously; things like what you described, and plenty of more sinister things, are why.

    Also, the Steam group you linked is not ours, not in any way shape or form affiliated with us, and was created just a couple months ago. You should take anything posted in it with a grain of salt.
